Toshiba Satellite Radius 15 Reviews

Toshiba Satellite Radius 15 came at a great value, offering stunning 4K screen in sharp designed, versatile and thin package. Just always remember the power cord. Among convertible tablet mode, the touch screen and 4K display, the laptop has been flooded with features that often do little more than the price hike. And so when Toshiba lays claim to create the first 15-inch in the world, 4K convertible laptop, I expected to be one of the flashiest laptop world with little substance.

Fortunately, Toshiba Satellite Radius 15 proved to be an excellent device to combine all the different qualities that creates an amazing experience no matter how you use it. For a 15-inch laptop, Radius 15 is one sleek device. While most laptop-plus large and yellow, Radius came to a relatively thin profile of 0.79 inches thin when closed. Even the bottom of the notebook tapers to accentuate thin.

Aesthetically, the Toshiba Satellite Radius 15 modern look with a dark, charcoal paint job and angles come to the right corner hard. It also helps that the aluminum sheet cover both the screen and keyboard deck lid.

Speaking of the keyboard, Toshiba Satellite Radius 15 has the layout of the island wide. However, I must say it offers several key travel the shortest I've seen on any Windows laptop. Lack of key travel is not surprising there is nothing like it in Apple's New MacBook, but shallow enough to make you give pause. However, after the first odd keystroke, you eventually get used to it.

One for all, it is fairly standard keyset, except for special Cortana key that only trigger when a search warrant was originally designed to encourage laptop to listen to the voice command.

While the trackpad is not coated with glass, plastic panels is quite smooth with slightly brushed texture to it. You will not find yourself stroking your finger on the palms leaning wonder why the cursor does not move.

One thing you will especially like about this revision is how drops of banana-laptop display of the past, where the rear of the machine would appear to dip more and more as it approaches the hinge. From the side, the model 2015 has a much slimmer profile that directly from front to back.

Thanks to the aesthetic improvements, you will never take this for hybrid convertible laptop. But, with a quick flip of the screen, you can use Radius 15 as a large tablet or stand as a portable 15-inch screen - and that's the star of this show.

Powered by a 2.2-GHz Intel Core i5 5200U CPU, 8GB of RAM and 750GB HDD, my review copy Radius 15 P55W has plenty of power for everyday computing. Even when I stacked it with 20 tabs open in Chrome, Toshiba had no trouble smoothly stream 1080p movies from YouTube.

Toshiba Satellite Radius 15 is currently sold at a price between $ 499.99 - $ 699.99 depending on the specifications of each.
